Like wine itself, architecture is, beyond its utilitarian aspect, the living expression of the philosophy of its creators, of the know-how of all those who have participated in its production and, finally, of the culture of those who live it. The basis of every great wine is the "terroir", the territory, and so it is for our project. In order not to disfigure the gentle curves of the Sequerciani basin facing south, most of the building will be underground, consisting of a large circular drum and a curved gallery that only occasionally appears, crowned by a tree platform, a true plant acropolis that emphasizes the natural line of the ridges. The rear part of the building, on the other hand, naturally extends the steep slope that marks the end of the site towards the forest. It is therefore a geological architecture that is based on the fundamental characteristics of the landscape and transfigures it without disfiguring it. The decision to build underground allows us to save important resources such as energy and water. We use the natural freshness of the upper layers as well as the warmth of the depths and their humidity to air-condition our spaces. The surface of the Acropolis allows us to effectively recover the precious rainwater, which is then stored in an external basin connected to a permaculture plant. The social dimension of the work around the wine directly influences the construction plan. The drum with the circular vat in the center, which, like a turntable, connects all the phases of winemaking from harvest to sale, is the most compact and efficient form, but also the one that promotes the closest and most harmonious relationships between the wine workers. This space is connected to the sky by an annular zenith window that indicates the position of the sun during the hours and seasons. - This opening, a true astronomical clock, connects the depths of the earth with the cosmos; like wine, which finds its origin in the darkness of its roots to flourish under the rays of the royal celestial body.Architektur ist ein Gebrauchsgegenstand mit hohem symbolischem Mehrwert. Wie der Wein selbst, über seinen utilitaristischen Aspekt hinaus, ist er der lebendige Ausdruck der Philosophie seiner Schöpfer, des Know-hows all jener, die an seiner Herstellung beteiligt waren, und schließlich der Kultur derer, die ihn leben. Die Grundlage jedes großen Weins ist das "Terroir", das Territorium, und so ist es auch für unser Projekt. Um die sanften Kurven des nach Süden ausgerichteten Sequerciani-Beckens nicht zu verunstalten, wird der größte Teil des Gebäudes unterirdisch angelegt, bestehend aus einer großen kreisförmigen Trommel und einer nur gelegentlich auftauchenden, geschwungenen Galerie, die von einer Baumplattform gekrönt wird, einer wahren Pflanzenakropolis, die die natürliche Linie der Bergrücken betont. Der hintere Teil des Gebäudes hingegen verlängert auf natürliche Weise den Steilhang, der das Ende des Geländes markiert, zum Wald hin. Es handelt sich also um eine geologische Architektur, die auf den grundlegenden Merkmalen der Landschaft beruht und diese verklärt, ohne sie zu entstellen. Die Entscheidung, unterirdisch zu bauen, ermöglicht es uns, wichtige Ressourcen wie Energie und Wasser zu sparen. Wir nutzen die natürliche Frische der oberen Schichten ebenso wie die Wärme der Tiefe und ihre Feuchtigkeit, um unsere Räume zu klimatisieren. Die Oberfläche der Akropolis ermöglicht es uns, das kostbare Regenwasser wirksam zurückzugewinnen, das dann in einem externen Becken gespeichert wird, das an eine Permakultur Anlage angeschlossen ist. Die soziale Dimension der Arbeit rund um den Wein beeinflusst den Bauplan direkt. Die Trommel mit dem kreisförmigen Bottich in der Mitte, der wie eine Drehscheibe alle Phasen der Weinbereitung von der Ernte bis zum Verkauf verbindet, ist die kompakteste und effizienteste Form, aber auch diejenige, die die engsten und harmonischsten Beziehungen zwischen den Weinarbeitern fördert. Dieser Raum ist mit dem Himmel durch ein ringförmiges Zenitfenster verbunden, das während der Stunden und Jahreszeiten den Stand der Sonne anzeigt. Diese Öffnung, eine wahre astronomische Uhr, verbindet die Tiefen der Erde mit dem Kosmos; wie der Wein, der seinen Ursprung in der Dunkelheit seiner Wurzeln findet, um unter den Strahlen des
